Colwen Hotels Opens the First Dual-Branded Hotel in New England with a Single Check-in Desk and Integrated Lobby
Colwen Hotels and Marriott International announce the opening of the Dual Brand Residence Inn/Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Boston Waltham.
The property is the first-of-its-kind Marriott dual-branded hotel to open in New England with a single guest-arrival experience. Shared amenities and common public spaces include an upscale stylish lobby and reception desk, multiple soft seating zones, and a chic bar and lounge.
Guests can choose two different accommodation types while taking advantage of common first floor amenities including an indoor swimming pool, modern fitness center, convenience market, and business center. All guests are welcomed to the complimentary breakfast buffet.
The dual-branded hotel offers 96 guestrooms by the Fairfield Inn for shorter stays, and 96 guestrooms by the Residence Inn with fully equipped kitchens for extended stays. All 192 guestrooms are smartly equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi, conveniently located USB-charging-ports, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee Keurig’s, 49″ HDTV’s, and contemporary bathrooms.

Located at 250 Second Ave in Waltham, the 5-story hotel is a prime location just off Rt. 128 with easy access to the Mass Turnpike and Rte. 2 and is only 30 minutes to Boston. Complimentary shuttle service is available to local businesses, dining and entertainment within 3 miles of the hotel.
