Marriott International announced today that the SpringHill Suites by Marriott in Fort Worth, Texas has opened in December 2019. The 170-suite hotel, located at 2315 North Main Street, operates as a Marriott franchise, owned by OGC Main Street, LP and managed by Oldham Goodwin Group, LLC of Bryan, Texas.
SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is located in the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District, 10 minutes from downtown and Sundance Square. The all-suite hotel offers guests convenient access to Billy Bob’s Texas, Cowtown Coliseum, Stockyards Rodeo, the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame, Mule Alley and Stockyards Station.
“As a brand opening a new hotel every 10 days on average, we are delighted that the SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards is the latest addition to our growing number of properties across the United States and Canada,” said Janis Milham, Senior Vice President and Global Brand Leader, Classic Select Brands. “Our all-suite offering and convenient amenities offer guests a little extra to help them enjoy their stay. Whether traveling for business or pleasure, we understand that guests want to connect to the local area. We make it our business to help them do that by offering our local expertise, and bringing the community into the hotel through our 24/7 market and the Ático rooftop bar.”
Ideal for business and leisure travelers alike, the new hotel offers a little extra space with suites larger than a typical hotel room. Separate living, working and sleeping spaces provide guests with flexibility and functionality. The hotel offers comfortable beds, soft linens, and plush pillows to allow for an optimum night’s sleep. Each suite also features the SpringHill Suites’ custom, three-in-one, West Elm sofa which converts from a sofa to a daybed to a trundle bed – without sacrificing its stylish good looks, along with a stylish West Elm Swivel Chair offering additional space for relaxation. The SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards also has several suites with balconies overlooking the Fort Worth Stockyards.
Ático, the newest concept by Chef Tim Love, is a Barcelona-inspired rooftop tapas bar featuring a dining experience unlike any other in the Stockyards. Indoor and outdoor seating provide views overlooking the Fort Worth Stockyards and the downtown Fort Worth skyline.
“Barcelona has the absolute best bar scene in Europe, hands down. Most of my favorites are on a rooftop where each spot is always lively yet intimate and the quality of both food and drink go hand in hand. I’ve dreamed about having that kind of experience in Fort Worth for years now, waiting for the perfect venue that could capture Barcelona’s special brand of bar culture and Ático is just that with panoramic views of the city’s landmarks,” said Chef Tim Love. “Our team looks forward to serving Fort Worth guests great food, good wine and cocktails, and the inviting atmosphere of a classic tapas bar.”
From the guest rooms to the lobby, every aspect of design, from furniture and lighting to colors and fabrics, has been carefully selected to offer calm and refreshing spaces to allow guests to relax and recharge. Featuring a brand-new design that adds depth and sophistication to the décor, the hotel’s lobby is a great venue for conducting casual meetings or simply to socialize with SpringHill Suites’ enhanced evening experience. The SpringHill Suites Fort Worth Historic Stockyards offers over 11,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space, including a rooftop terrace overlooking the Fort Worth Stockyards. The hotel also provides business services, complimentary Wi-Fi, same-day dry cleaning, guest laundry facilities, an outdoor swimming pool, and a well-equipped fitness center.
The daily complimentary breakfast is filled with hot, healthy and indulgent choices including fresh strawberries, steel-cut oatmeal, cold cuts, cheeses and much more. This is SpringHill Suites’ way of making sure guests have a good start to their day.
