Radisson Hotel Panama City Beach – Oceanfront Opens

Radisson announced the opening of Radisson Hotel Panama City Beach – Oceanfront on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico.

The hotel’s 139 rooms and suites offer guests the opportunity to wake up each morning and sip coffee on their private balcony before heading outside to enjoy the many beachfront activities Panama City Beach has to offer. Whirlpool rooms, top-floor suites, penthouse whirlpool rooms, and penthouse two-bedroom suites are among the wide array of lodging options available to guests. The hotel’s onsite amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, complimentary parking, and free Wi-Fi all throughout the hotel grounds.

Conveniently attached to the hotel is Barefoot Hide-A-Way restaurant, a premier dining spot with both indoor and outdoor seating inviting guests to savor American cuisine and decadent seafood dishes. With the restaurant open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, it’s easy for visitors to grab a quick bite to eat before heading off to a morning surf session, day trip to Shipwreck Island Waterpark, or a night out in Panama City Beach.

“We’re thrilled to open this beautiful oceanfront hotel in Panama City Beach,” said Aly El-Bassuni, chief operating officer, Radisson Hotel Group Americas. “Bringing a Radisson hotel to the Emerald Coast, a popular getaway destination, is an exciting step for the brand. This hotel exemplifies everything a vacation should include from luxury, to relaxation, and of course some adventure.”

Whatever travelers are in town for, Radisson Hotel Panama City Beach – Oceanfront is the ideal home base for all kinds of adventures. Directly outside the hotel is the Bay Town Trolley Transit System, which guests can use to conveniently access nearby attractions like Gulf World Marine Park and Shipwreck Island Waterpark. Less than a quarter of a mile away, Gulf World Marine Park provides an interactive experience where guests can feed stingrays, swim with dolphins, and even watch some very talented penguins perform a trick or two. Shipwreck Island Waterpark offers aquatic fun for visitors of all ages including a zip line, lazy river and a 500,000-gallon wave pool. Guests can also shop to their heart’s content at Pier Park, an open-air mall with more than 250 retail and dining options less than a mile from the hotel.

“We could not be more excited to bring Radisson’s signature hospitality and high level of service to the Panama City Beach area,” said Ashley Medlock, the hotel’s general manager. “We are looking forward to our versatile hotel bringing a heightened level of luxury and comfort to family vacations, romantic getaways, beach weddings, and corporate travel in Panama City Beach.”
