Hilton (NYSE: HLT) today announced the signing of Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, adding to the company’s all-inclusive expansion. Owned by Corendon Group, the resort is expected to convert in September 2021 and will re-establish Hilton’s presence on the island of Curaçao.

“As we continue to grow our all-inclusive portfolio throughout the Caribbean and Mexico, we are thrilled to partner with Corendon Hotels & Resorts and open the largest all-inclusive resort on Curaçao,” said Pablo Maturana, managing director of development, South America & Caribbean, Hilton. “With more than 35 spectacular beaches, Curaçao serves as an ideal destination for tourists looking for a pristine natural environment, and we couldn’t be more excited to offer guests yet another option when booking their travel to the Caribbean.”

In addition to 399 spacious guest rooms, Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort will feature curated experiences and offerings to accommodate both adventurous travellers, as well as those looking for a tranquil beach getaway. Guests will be able to recharge at the resort’s idyllic private beach with calm turquoise waters, four picturesque pools and spa cabanas with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. The resort will also offer a variety of activities to appeal to adventure-seekers including diving, beach volleyball and shuffleboard.

“We are very pleased to partner with Hilton, a globally-recognized leader in hospitality, and benefit from Hilton’s global brand awareness and award-winning guest loyalty program,” said Atilay Uslu, founder, Corendon Group. “Starting September 2021, we look forward to welcoming Curio Collection by Hilton to the beautiful island of Curaçao. Our goal is to provide the very best service to our guests and Hilton Honors members and to show that Corendon’s hospitality is an added value for the Hilton brand.”

Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton will offer nine distinct dining outlets, including pool and beach bars, specialty restaurants and a cigar and rum tasting lounge. Guests will be able to enjoy additional on-property amenities such as a fitness center and a premium waterpark, featuring six family-friendly water slides, including the infamous King Cobra, the only slide of its kind in the Caribbean.

In addition to the island’s world-renowned beaches, the resort is walking distance to the famous shops in historic Willemstad and conveniently located just five miles from Curaçao’s international airport.

“The signing of Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort marks a major milestone for the brand as we add the latest all-inclusive property to Curio Collection, a growing portfolio of more than 100 one-of-a-kind handpicked hotels and resorts around the world,” said Jenna Hackett, global brand head, Curio Collection by Hilton. “Nestled in a protected nature preserve with a gorgeous private beach, this beautiful resort will boast stylish accommodations, elevated dining experiences and premier services and amenities, all coming together to offer guests a truly unique travel experience.”

Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao Resort, Curio Collection is the latest addition to join Hilton’s rapidly expanding portfolio of all-inclusive properties in prime beachfront destinations around the globe. Tapestry Collection marked the opening of its first all-inclusive resort last month with The Yucatan Resort, Playa del Carmen, and later this year, Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort, is also slated to join the all-inclusive portfolio.
