ABTA Travel Regulations Conference Takes Place Next Wednesday

The shadow of COVID-19 may be receding and post-EU issues becoming clearer so whilst the economic outlook may be stormy, perhaps we are starting to get back to business as usual. But, business as usual does not mean that business is straightforward.

At this year’s Travel Regulations Conference, we will be looking at the issues that travel companies should be considering as business returns. Identifying risks is key to managing them. Understanding how the economic headwinds affect your business will help you survive them. And hearing from the Department for Business and the CAA will help you prepare for changes that they might be bringing down the line. We have built in plenty of panel sessions to the agenda this year so that you can put your questions to senior industry and legal experts making this conference the ideal opportunity to prepare your business for the challenges, and opportunities, that 2023 will bring.

Sessions include:

  • Update on the ATOL reform and guidance on how to prepare, including financial protection outcomes
  • BEIS update on the Package Travel and Linked Travel Regulations
  • The current economic climate and its impact on the travel industry
  • Consumer rights and recent case law including aviation consumer policy
  • Practical advice on key topics including understanding your business risk, supplier risk management and recruitment and retention
  • Industry panel sessions: the Package Travel Regulations, risk management and financial protection and ATOL reform
  • The future of financial protection.

Register your place to hear from the CAA, BEIS, easyJet, Deloitte Legal, Tourism Economics, Kuoni, Flight Centre Travel Group and more. Discounted rates are available to ABTA Members and Partners
