Prominent real estate developer Crescent Heights has announced the launch of Crescent Seas, a new venture bringing luxury residences to sea. The new model targets discerning travelers accustomed to the yachting lifestyle and aims to replicate the communal experience Crescent Heights is known for on land.

The debut ship, The Navigator, is a project in partnership with affiliates of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. The ship is set to undergo a $50 million refurbishment led by three distinguished design firms: Lissoni & Partners, Journey, and MAWD. The Navigator will feature 210 homes priced between $750,000 and $8 million. Each residence will have access to white-glove butler service and Starlink internet connection. Sales will open to the public on April 9th, and The Navigator is scheduled to set sail on its maiden voyage in December 2026. Over the next five years, Crescent Seas also plans to introduce four more luxury residence ships.

Russell W. Galbut, a founding partner of Crescent Heights, has taken charge of Crescent Seas’ development. He expressed excitement about transitioning their expertise in land-based development to the sea, stating that the idea was inspired by travelers’ desire to live a luxurious lifestyle on the move.

Unlike typical cruises, Crescent Seas residents will embark on extended voyages around the world, staying at each destination for several days. The itineraries will span all seven continents, visiting remote and exotic destinations such as French Polynesia, the Faroe Islands, and Madagascar.

The ships will be operated by their existing crews, while The Apollo Group will provide onboard hospitality services. Leveraging its 50 years of experience in the cruising industry, The Apollo Group will continue to provide high-quality service and dining for all residents.

Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership and The Navigator’s continued journey under Crescent Seas.

The launch of Crescent Seas is being facilitated through GFO Investments, a significant investor in Crescent Heights.
