Hilton Honors Introduces New Loyalty Tier, Diamond Reserve
Hilton Honors will introduce a new loyalty tier, Diamond Reserve, and reduce the requirements for achieving Gold and Diamond status beginning in 2026.
Hilton Honors, Hilton’s loyalty program, announced changes to its tier system, including the introduction of a new tier, Diamond Reserve. Set to launch in January, Diamond Reserve will offer benefits such as a Confirmable Upgrade Reward, guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, and exclusive customer service support. The new tier will be available to members who stay 80 nights and spend $18,000 in eligible annual expenses.
Starting in 2026, Hilton Honors will also lower the requirements for achieving Gold and Diamond status. Members will be able to reach Gold status with 25 nights per year, a reduction from the current 40-night requirement. Gold status will continue to provide benefits such as early confirmation of space-available room upgrades and a daily food and beverage credit or continental breakfast, depending on the brand and region.
For Diamond status, the requirement will decrease to 50 nights from 60. Diamond members will retain benefits including early confirmation of space-available room upgrades, a daily food and beverage credit or continental breakfast, executive lounge access, a 48-hour room guarantee, and a 100% points bonus.
The Diamond Reserve tier, aimed at Hilton’s most frequent travelers, will include benefits such as the Confirmable Upgrade Reward, allowing members to secure premium room upgrades, including up to a one-bedroom suite for stays of up to seven nights. Members will receive their first Confirmable Upgrade Reward upon achieving Diamond Reserve status, with an option to earn a second reward at the 120-night milestone or 30,000 points.
Additional benefits for Diamond Reserve members include guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, 24/7 exclusive customer service, complimentary access to Hilton’s Premium Clubs, and the highest priority for space-available upgrades, confirmed as early as 3 days before check-in. Diamond Reserve members will also receive a 120% points bonus on every stay.
Hilton Honors will continue to offer no blackout dates and no resort fees on reward stays booked with points. Members can combine points and money for bookings and will still benefit from the Fifth Night Free perk on standard room rewards booked entirely with points.
