The publication's Feb. 11 issue recognizes Baymont as the number one chain in the economy segment offering the best overall relationship between price and value, as well as the best physical appearance. This ranking improves on Baymont's second place finish in last year's survey.
The Business Travel News survey also recognizes Baymont for the effectiveness of its corporate rate program, ease of arranging individual travel, timely commission payments for travel agents and helpful and courteous staff. Value-added programs launched in 2001 may have contributed to the chain's appeal to business travelers for this year's survey.
