Donald J. Trump and Dezer Development Celebrate Topping Off/Groundbreaking of Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences

SUNNY ISLES BEACH, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 13, 2002–Donald J. Trump and father and son development team, Michael and Gil Dezer, welcomed more than 500 guests this past weekend in Sunny Isles Beach, Florida to celebrate the official topping off of the Trump International Beach Resort and groundbreaking of Trump Palace – Miami's tallest oceanfront condominium.
The evening was a celebration of the joint venture agreement between the Dezers and Mr. Trump to build a $600 million oceanfront project including a condominium hotel and twin residence towers on eleven acres and 1,000 feet of pristine, private beach in Sunny Isles.
Prominent attendees included Mr. Donald Trump, Michael and Gil Dezer of Dezer Development, Roger Sonnabend – Chairman & CEO of Sonesta International Hotels, Mayor Dave Samson of Sunny Isles, Danny Iglesias- Vice Mayor of Sunny Isles, and Dade County Commission Chairperson Gwen Margolis among others. Trump Grande Ocean Resort and Residences will feature the Trump International Sonesta Beach Resort – a 372-unit condominium hotel scheduled for completion in September 2002, Trump Palace – a 267 unit, 47-story condominium tower scheduled for completion in August 2003, and Trump Royale, a 333-unit, 47-story condominium tower scheduled for completion in December 2005.
