Sealy, the worlds largest bedding manufacturer, has given hotels another compelling reason to choose Sealy sleep systems for their properties. The new Advanced Generation Sealy Posturepedic® Collection with Stay True Technology is a groundbreaking advancement in sleep systems, offering longer lasting comfort and support than ever before. The improved collection was unveiled at the International Hotel / Motel & Restaurant Show in New York in November.
This significant new technology involves the re-engineering of important sleep system components to extend the Comfort Life the new mattress feeling — that is felt with a new bed. This ensures that hotel guests years from now will enjoy the same comfort and support as when the mattress was new, explains Leo Vogel, National Sales Manager for Sealy Contract.
One of the most dramatic components of the improved Posturepedic Collection is the new Shock Abzzorber Foundation. According to Vogel, this foundation provides 27% greater impact absorption and support. Its 9 high profile, one of the highest in the industry, also enhances the aesthetics of the Posturepedic sleep systems, creating a more appealing and luxurious appearance for hotel guests.
The StayTrue Technology components of the new Advanced Generation Sealy Posturepedic sleep systems are concentrated in the internal mattress upholstery and cushioning and include:
1. Sealy StayTrue Fibers: Like pre-washed jeans that dont shrink, these fibers are pre-compressed to prevent body impressions. They also allow air circulation, which helps maintain normal body temperature while sleeping.
2. Sealy StayTrue Insulator: A pre-compressed cotton/polyester insulator pad to prevent pocketing and ensure a consistent surface feel. Sewn with twice as many channels to keep material in place, Sealys StayTrue Insulator is similar in characteristics to a luxury down comforter with many baffles.
3. Sealy StayTrue Foam: Made through an innovative process that produces a more uniform cell structure throughout the foam, Sealys StayTrue foam delivers improved performance and strength (10% more durable than regular foam) and retains its original characteristics over time.
In addition, because of the advancements in the Advanced Generation Sealy Posturepedic® components, Sealy Contract is announcing the following warranty improvements:
Warranty: The warranty on the new Advanced Generation Sealy Posturepedic sleep systems has been extended to a full 10-year non-prorated warranty.
Flip if you Want 2: Sealy remains committed to the design and performance benefits of a two-sided mattress and recommends that all hospitality customers flip their mattresses quarterly. However, flipping is now optional and Sealys warranty will be valid even if the mattress is not flipped.
