THE PINEHURST COMPANY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF WILLIAM VAN LOON AS VICE PRESIDENT OF INCENTIVE INDUSTRY SALES

VILLAGE OF PINEHURST, N.C. (January 11, 2002) The Pinehurst Company has announced the appointment of William Van Loon as Vice President of Incentive Industry Sales.
Mr. Van Loon is a fourteen-year industry veteran with an outstanding track record in the competitive incentive market. He most recently has served as Senior Travel Program Manager for Maritz Travel Company, where he produced, presented and maintained performance-based travel incentive award programs responsible for generating annual revenues exceeding $10 million. In this position, Mr. Van Loon created and designed incentive travel programs for destinations throughout the world.
