Mohamed Abdelrehim Named GM at Homewood Suites by Hilton in Ithaca
Abdelrehim joins the Homewood Suites Ithaca as General Manager from his most recent position as Front Office Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Hartford, CT.
Waterford Hotel Group recently announced the promotion ofMohamed Abdelrehim to General Manager for the 91-room Homewood Suites by Hilton in Ithaca, NY. The Homewood Suites Ithaca is managed by Waterford Hotel Group, a national hotel and convention center management firm.
Abdelrehim joins the Homewood Suites Ithaca as General Manager from his most recent position as Front Office Manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott in Hartford, CT. In his new role, Abdelrehim will be responsible for all phases of the hotel’s operations, sales and administration. He joined Waterford in 2009 as the Front Desk Supervisor/Concierge at the Marriott Hartford Downtown, after previously serving as General Manager for QSR Restaurants in West Simsbury, CT.

Abdelrehim, a participant in Waterford’s Rising Star Leadership Development Program, has an Associates of Science degree in Hospitality Management from the International College of Hospitality Management. He currently resides in Canton, CT.
The three-story Homewood Suites Ithaca is located in the Village of Lansing, NY, and features 91 residential-style studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites with fully equipped kitchens, as well as spacious sleeping and living areas that are large enough for work, study, entertaining or relaxing.
