PARSIPPANY, N.J. (July 30, 2002) Cendant Corporations hotel group has named Marian Bianchini as senior director of corporate & travel industry sales, responsible for all corporate accounts and travel agency and consortia sales.
Bianchini, who is based in Parsippany, previously served Le Meridien Hotels & Resorts in New York as vice president of sales, eastern region, since October 2000. Le Meridien hired her in 1998 as regional sales director for an area extending from Canada through New Jersey.
Prior to that, she was director, business travel, for Omni Hotels, based in New York. From 1996 to 1997 she served the Omni Berkshire Place hotel in New York as director of sales & marketing and assistant director of sales, responsible for group sales.
From 1988 to 1996, Bianchini was Northeast area sales director for for Forte & Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts in New York. She served the Westbury Hotel in New York as senior sales manager, groups, from 1987 to 1988 and began her career in 1984 as an administrative assistant in the Sales & Marketing department of Forum Hotels in New York.

Bianchini earned her associates degree from the State University of New York at Garden City, N.Y., in 1974.
