The Buyer – a Florida investment company – purchased the hotel for $5,600,000.00. Tony De George, President of GCD Hotels advised and represented the Seller and the Buyer in this transaction.
The Motel 6 is a 100 room, limited service hotel, built in 1985. It is well located in Tampa near Interstate 75 and is in close proximity to the Florida State Fairgrounds. In the first half of 2016, the hotel underwent a total renovation and was converted from a Days Inn to a Motel 6.
