Four-Week Program Offers a Fast Track to Hospitality Business Expertise
Students enrolled in The School of Hospitality Businesss Real Estate Specialization at Michigan State University have recently completed a one-credit short course on Hotel Investments and Asset Management, coordinated by Drs. Ray Schmidgall and AJ Singh.
These online courses feature the same content as the hospitality management textbooks used in colleges and universities worldwide. Each courses includes a 100-question final exam that leads to a course completion certificate for those who score 70% or higher.
The American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute (AHLEI), in collaboration with Cardinal Point Strategies, leading security experts, hospitality industry leaders, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, has created an exclusive hospitality industry training program designed to raise employee awareness of security and terrorism issues.
Publication aims to track ongoing adoption of social media and identify industry best practice across the hotel industry.
