After a successful debut last year that quickly reached capacity, the HFTP Leadership Excellence Series returns in 2023. Exclusively available to active HFTP members, this free, virtual professional development program is designed to help members cultivate leadership skills and build knowledge. This will be done via a series of learning components and opportunities portraying models of leadership within the association and hospitality industry. The education series begins in January 2023 and takes place over 10 months. Don’t miss your chance to participate — there are only 100 spots available, and you must register by January 13, 2023.
Successful completion of the program will result in receiving a completion certificate and digital badge to include with a LinkedIn profile. In addition, participants will be recognized at a special reception at the HFTP 2023 Annual Convention.
Requirements:
Planning for the HFTP 2023 Leadership Excellence Series will be directed by two co-chairs with significant industry leadership experience: Scott Boren, CHAE, senior corporate controller – hotels at Southern Management Companies LLC, and Jim Schiff, CHAE+, CPA, finance and administration manager at CREADIS Inc. Boren has been an HFTP member since 1989, while Schiff has been with HFTP since 1985. Their guidance will be instrumental in developing all the learning components taking place throughout the year.
