I am originally from a small West African country called Ghana. I am currently the Director of Technology Solutions for Dollywood Theme Parks and Resorts. I began my technology career in the financial and banking sector, but it was joining the hospitality industry 12 years ago that truly ignited my passion. Being able to see the immediate impact of our work on the guest experience, and the smiles it puts on their faces, is incredibly fulfilling.
I am truly grateful for the knowledge and expertise that I have gained through the CHTP certification, and I cannot thank HFTP enough for providing such a valuable resource to hospitality professionals like myself. This certification has not only equipped me with the methodologies and best practices in the industry but also helped me become a better employee for my company.
Thanks to the CHTP certification, I am now in a better position to partner with my operators in implementing and maintaining innovative solutions that improve operational efficiencies and enhance guest experiences. However, I am aware that there is always much to learn in this industry, and I remain committed to further developing my skills and knowledge to better serve the organizations and individuals I work with, and most importantly, our guests.
I owe this accomplishment to the support and guidance of my colleagues and mentors who played an instrumental role in helping me achieve this milestone. I am humbled and honored to have received this recognition. I would also like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to HFTP for the invaluable tools, resources and networking opportunities they provide to hospitality professionals like myself. HFTP’s various educational programs, events and publications have provided me with a wealth of knowledge and expertise that has helped me succeed in the hospitality industry.

The CHTP designation is the ultimate achievement in hospitality information technology by showing a dedication to both the hospitality and technology industries. The CHTP exam was first given in 1994 at HITEC in Dallas, Texas USA. Since then, more than 400 professionals have earned the CHTP designation around the world. HFTP also administers the examination and awards the CHAE industry designation.
